The New Miir x Tanamashi Coffee Collection Is A Stylish Fundraiser

Miir X Tanamashi

Everyone loves a good collaboration release. But when there’s multiple parties involved with the project and it’s raising money for an excellent charity, the object becomes irresistible. Whether you’re working from home or bringing your own face-mask-and-coffee combo in to a socially distanced office, you should maybe consider investing in a high quality tumbler. Making coffee at home and carrying it in with you makes so much sense right now, most especially it cuts down on unnecessary trips to central gathering places like the break room. To accomplish this, you’ll need a good thermos or high volume tumbler. And if you are a fan of functional aesthetics, collaborations, or good causes, then Miir has just the one for you. Now available for pre-order Miir has teamed up with New York City artist and designer Dana Tanamachi for a brand new collection with part of the proceeds benefitting the non-profit organization Preemptive Love.

Per the website, the aptly named MiiR x Tanamachi collection “aims to showcase pieces of functional beauty which speak to the resilience and strength our global community has shown while battling an unprecedented pandemic.” Included in the collection is a 12oz Travel Tumbler, a 20oz Wide Mouth Bottle, as well as a Camp Cup (with lid, you need that lid), a tote, and a collaboration coffee from San Francisco’s Saint Frank, the Colombia La Florida. Each item comes emblazoned with an image from Tanamachi “inspired by the Japanese concept of Gaman (我慢), translated as ‘enduring the seemingly unbearable with patience and dignity.’”

$5 from the sale of each Miir x Tanamachi collection item will go to Preemptive Love, a non-profit providing much needed food, medical care, and jobs to refugees and those left vulnerable in quarantine caused by the global pandemic.

Currently in pre-order, all items in the Miir x Tanamachi collection are scheduled to ship out July 20th. To order yours or for more information on the collection, Dana Tanamachi, or Preemptive Love, visit Miir’s official website. Just because you have to go back into the office doesn’t mean you can’t stay safe, give back, and look stylish while doing it.
